The Story Behind With Love

When deciding what I wanted to call my crafting "business" I knew the word love had to be in it. I believe that love is what gets each one of us through the hours, days, weeks and years. Love is what keeps us going through the work days, school projects, death of a loved ones, illness's, weddings, babies, divorces, addiction and just life in general. Whether we feel that warm embrace of love physically, spiritually, emotionally or mentally we know that we are able to push through one more day or five more minutes of grueling agony.

Love is what allows our hearts to beat.

I am currently in treatment for an eating disorder. Over the last year my eyes and heart have been exposed to more brokenness than I can dare put into words. I have seen hopelessness in the eyes of so many young women, including myself. I sit in rooms that are just covered with a dark cloud of depression and fear. I see beautiful girls that are broken, they are truly broken and try so hard to cover it up so the outside world won't see it.

I have seen beauty in brokenness. I have seen smiles through tears and I've heard laughter through the meltdowns. I've seen God move through the hearts of girls who are so distant from Him that they feel He has forgotten them all together. I have seen beauty in suffering. I have seen beauty in recovery, not in those who are recoverED but in those who are recoverING. Those who choose to dedicate themselves to a journey of agonizing pain are beautiful. Their stories are beautiful, their hearts are beautiful and they themselves will forever have a glow of beauty that no one could possibly take away.

They are filled With Love.

I have created With Love to further my healthy coping skill, crafting. I craft to keep my mind off of the destructive behaviors and illness that has controlled me for years and still does control me (to be honest). I have created With Love to advocate for those who are still beautiful despite their brokenness, to raise awareness for different organizations that help others break the chains of addiction and sin, whatever form it may be in.

I do this With Love. From the bottom of my heart.
My crafts are all made With Love.
My photos are all taken With Love.
Those in my pictures have chosen to be vulnerable and honest With Love.
I reach out to others With Love.
I pray for recovery for myself and others With Love.

Without love we are nothing, we are nowhere and we are unable to see the beauty in brokenness. Without love we trap ourselves in a dark and lonely world. Let us all choose to live With Love.

With Love,
